Course overview

The Internet Business Applications course (BUS 370 for undergraduates, MSEI 502 for graduate students) is offered at the University of San Francisco (USF). This course is designed to equip students from diverse disciplines with the knowledge and skills required to establish and manage online businesses, leveraging open-source and industry-standard tools and software. In today’s digital landscape, the ability to create and maintain an online presence is integral to the success of businesses, organizations, and personal endeavors. Through a combination of lectures, weekly assignments, online activities, in-class exercises, guest speakers, and a comprehensive course project, students will gain practical experience in building and managing an online presence. About the Instructor

June Y. Lee is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Strategy at the University of San Francisco School of Management. Her research area focuses on transnational, international, and cross-border entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. Her teaching has received the Innovation in Teaching with Technology Award (2017) and Best Teaching Award (2021) from the University of San Francisco School of Management.

She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University and an A.B. in Mathematics and Economics from Bryn Mawr College.
